Business Manager Jon Holsten took office on May 28th 2010 and had been a EBCSD Bus driver for 18 years, he was the Chief Union Steward four years and Public Sector Organizer for schools for over three years. For over a year he had been the E-Board Recording Secretary . In his spare time Jon loves to Fish and spend large amounts of time with his Buzz/gone_fishing.jpgGrandchildren. To put an end to the story on Jon, well as you can see the sign says it all! Darlene Navin joined Laborers Local #566 January of 2010 and is a Public Sector Representative for the northwest part of the state. She is married to Mike and they have two children, Michael and Jamie and one grand daughter Meah. Darlene was born and grew up in Tennessee but has been an Iowan for over 25 years.  Her union background covers several generations on both her and her husbands side of the family.  Darlene was one of the first women in the late 1970's to belong to the Miners Union.  She has worked in the community school system and believes strongly in organizing the support staff in Iowa.   Darlene enjoys spending time with her family  and some of her hobbies/pastimes are working as a wench during the Renaissance Faire, a witch during Halloween season and sharing stories with the Two Rivers Story Tellers guild. Darlene believes everyone has a story to share and that not all of them are good, and that the Laborers' Local #566 is here to help make all CSD support staffers story a good one. You can contact Darlene at 641-799-1121 or e-mail her Ldnavin@aol.com

Jesse Haines is the new Construction Organizer for Local 566. He became a Union Member in October of 1990 where he was a member of Local 177, then transferred to Local 566 in January of 2007 and has been active ever since. Jesse and his wife Linda have a daughter and one son. He enjoys his spare time with his two grand daughters and one grandson.

Rhonda Sipe joined Laborers' Local 566 in January of 2008 as Office Manager for the local, she has two grown children, Bruce who lives in Chariton, Iowa and Christi who resides in Ottumwa. She enjoys spending time with her husband David Sipe and her two Grand Daughters Kaitlyn & Caylee and Grandson Liam in her spare time.
